         Hey everyone! Thank you for coming to visit my blog here on WordPress.com. On this site you will find lots of different information about personal growth, both in general and how it relates to the world of online marketing, and lots of great information about online marketing itself. I am a single mother, and I have almost always been my own boss, even before getting into the realm of internet marketing. I went to college for accounting, a very safe and secure business, and I worked on my own for quite a while before creating my own accounting firm. I love the people I work with in accounting, but the hours are often exhausting. I was working far too late and spending far too little time with my family, and this went on for a couple years before I finally decided it was time to move on. I found myself considering the idea of an internet business. It sounds so wonderful they way they advertise it. Financial freedom, work from home, put in barely any hours. It sounds too good to be true, and often I found that it was. There are a lot of programs out there on the internet that are really unstable and unreliable. I knew I had to be careful not to get caught up in the hype that so many sites offer. I searched for a few good weeks before finding one that really caught my attention. I also found that you can really tell a lot about a business from the people you talk to. So many people continue the extreme hype that starts at their webpage, and thats usually a good sign to be cautious. In the business that I finally decided to be a part of the people I talked to told me the truth. They didn’t pressure me, or give me a lot of hype. They wanted people who were going to put in the hours that would make the business work. They didn’t say that I would get rich quick without any work. Its time consuming, especially the learning process. I felt I could trust these people and so I tried what they were offering, because even though I knew now that it wouldn’t be a piece of cake exactly, I knew that the rewards for this business had huge potential. I can happily say I wouldn’t have done it any other way. I have traveled more in the past year than I was able to to before over the course of two or three years. I have met so many interesting people and learned so much from this experience. I am now even getting help from my 19-year old daughter who has taken an interest in possibly starting her own online business. This really can be for anyone.
